TACHIWAKU is pattern resembling rising steam. In the Heian period, pattern required advanced fabric making techniques. Therefore, it was exclusively used on clothes for the upper class. 

 

Nishijin is a traditional textile produced in Kyoto. Originating in Heian-Kyoto over 1200 years ago, Nishijin weaving is known for its highly-decorative and finely-woven designs. Nishijin is registered trademark in order to preserve the traditional process.

 

Tsumugi - textile that represents traditional craft, which has a long history and tradition. Dyeing culture is ostensibly harmonious with nature and participates in a long historical dialogue with it.
