KUSAKIZOME is a traditional Japanese method of dyeing fabrics using natural pigments extracted from plants. It translates directly to "plant dyeing" and represents a deep connection with nature, as the colors are derived from flowers, leaves, stems, and roots. This ancient practice was widely used in Japan until around 1925 and is still valued for its elegant, simple textures and the unique colors achieved through natural dyes.
